Time Square
one of my favorite places in the world, no doubtt. I only wish that I could visit it more often. It sucks living so close but not being able to see it. As I'm sitting here, looking at this picture - I'm thinking about going back out there and getting more. There's a lot I don't like about it. I'd give you all an uncropped version, but the light was so bright on some of the electronic billboards that it created an effect I really don't like. Blahh!

So, I got into the city today - and I went to my monthly GK meeting..which was alright, it's always fun - but I'm normally pretty tired after I leave. Anyway, we went out to dinner to this place called 'The Hairy Monk'. We go there every time after my meeting, it's right across the street and the food is really good. After dinner, we went to our hotel. God, it's such an amazing hotel. Right on Broadway. It's called the Marriott Marquis, and I LOVE it. It's got these awesome glass elevators.. but that's another story.

So, my dad managed to get us upgraded rooms (he's a pilot for a private corp. and he makes sooo many marriott points that we normally get to stay for free when we take these little trips.)

So, he upgraded us all into SUITES. Ohh my god. I have the most amazing room. It's on the 43rd floor, and the view is just amazing. I'm gonna get some shots of it before I crawl into bed to watch a movie.

So yeah. Amazing rooms, amazing dinner - and then after we were all settled in and my dad had had a few drinks, I asked him if he wanted to come and help me get some pictures. (I'm only sixteen, and my mom would have had a heartattack if I went out by myself.) So, we wandered around Times Square for awhile, as I was taking shot after shot after shot until a police officer came up and told me that I can't really take anything in the city with a tripod and not have a permit. That kinda sucked.

This was my favorite shot out of the batch of them, and I hope you all enjoy it I'll try and get some pics. of my view from here..no promises though, I'm tired and I hate working with a window :/
